Central Motor Group is a family-owned and operated Ford dealership with locations in Taupo and Rotorua, New Zealand. We have been serving the Central North Island since 1983, and we are proud to be one of the region’s biggest and most successful dealerships.

Central Motor Group was founded in 1983 by Richard Blakeney-Williams Sr., bringing with him a long history in the automotive industry. The dealership was originally located in Taupo in the same building it stands in today, and quickly became one of the most successful dealerships in the region. In 2022, Central Motor Group opened a second location in Rotorua, to better serve the Central Plateau for everything Ford.
Today, Central Motor Group is still family-owned and operated, with Richard Sr.’s son, Richard Jr., now the Dealer Principal. Richard Jr. is committed to carrying on his father’s legacy of providing exceptional service to our customers.
